Acquired in 2016 by an international institutional investor and managed by ALMEA, Lanxess Arena has a who’s who of star performers lined up in its upcoming schedule, from Pink Floyd to Helene Fischer and Kendrick Lamar. This is in addition to being the home of the Kölner Haie and venue for numerous other sporting and cultural events. In the 2019 Pollstar mid-year rankings by ticket sales, Lanxess Arena topped the list of global arenas, ahead of Madison Square Garden (NYC) and in 2020, came slightly behind WiZink Center (Madrid) but again ahead of Madison Square Garden (NYC). Lanxess Arena, with its 20,000 seats and multi-purpose flexibility, remains a top venue in Germany, Europe and globally.
